THEERAM is a beach clean-up initiative by Kanal Innovations and Tata Elxsi aimed at restoring Kerala's beaches by removing plastic and other waste. The project focuses on raising awareness about waste management and encouraging local communities to take responsibility for their environment. It brings together local communities, volunteers, and organizations, fostering a shared responsibility for protecting our beaches and marine life. Through consistent action and awareness, Theeram continues to inspire more people to take part in preserving the natural beauty of our shores. Until now, through the 22 activities of THEERAM beach cleanup, 5620 kilogram of waste has been collected and properly treated.
