Job Description: Kanal Innovations Charitable Trust is seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Child Welfare Associate. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about learning, eager to build a strong foundation in social development projects, and committed to maintaining a high standard of professionalism. The position is open for both freshers and experienced persons. Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct events, campaigns, and project activities as assigned.

  • Prepare daily and weekly action plans and schedules; present them to the Project Coordinator.

  • Maintain documentation in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and organizational requirements.

  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and program-specific reports, trackers, and registers.

  • Record and maintain minutes of relevant meetings.

  • Ensure timely submission of expenditure reports, scanned bills, and original bills to the Project Coordinator.

  • Report daily planned tasks and completed work.

  • Prepare quarterly and annual reports of assigned projects and activities.

  • Allocate and coordinate volunteers for various project-related activities.

  • Maintain effective communication with beneficiaries and other stakeholders.

  • Ensure office decorum and oversee housekeeping standards.

  • Organize and maintain both digital and physical filing of project-related reports and documents.

  • Archive hard and soft copies of media and news reports related to the projects.

  • Coordinate assessment activities and prepare corresponding reports.

  • Update the daily office register without fail.

  • Report team activities and relevant updates to the Director and HR as required.

  • Ensure discipline and adherence to quality standards in all outstation and field activities.

  • Maintain order and discipline in office documentation systems and digital drives.

  • Contribute to proposal writing and donor communications as needed.

  • Identify and share opportunities for funding or partnerships aligned with the organization’s goals.

  • Represent the organization in meetings, events, and external forums as assigned.

Note: Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by the organization as per emerging needs. Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW), Psychology, or Extension Education (preferred).

  • Proficiency in Malayalam and English (both spoken and written).

  • Strong MS Office skills.

  • Willingness to learn documentation and reporting methods if not previously experienced.

  • A genuine passion for child welfare and social development.

  • High levels of energy, enthusiasm, and adaptability to diverse and challenging environments.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.

  • Possession of a valid two-wheeler driver’s license (owning a vehicle is an advantage).

  • Willingness to travel extensively for assigned projects.
