My outlook towards the youngsters in our society changed when I saw their compassionate work during the great flood in 2018, then when I saw young people serving in palliative care, and later was awed when I met this energetic organization KANAL. Through their activities, Kanal tries to practice what Mother Teresa always preached, 'Have concern for others'.

Kanal has been a beacon to light up the dark atrocious society for kids of today. The success of the initiatives it has implemented showcased the professionalism and dynamic strength it entails. While collaborating with Kanal, I have observed their dedication and empathy towards uplifting the children, especially those belonging to marginalised communities with Collector's Super 100 Project and also the successful implementation of Project X among teachers and students in schools across the district.

I had the opportunity to collaborate with Kanal for an inspiring and insightful 3-hour workshop for the Postgraduate department and Research Centre of Home Science. Govt College for Women, Thiruvananthapuram. Anson is well versed in his CSE subject and was able to engage with the beneficiaries in an encouraging manner, teaching them pertinent topics such as consent and boundaries.

As the name implies, Kanal is an organization that is so passionate about society and one which enhances self-awareness. Their efforts to reaffirm the rights of children not just in words, but as the responsibility of every adult, is extremely appreciable.
