Job Title: Child Welfare Associate

Location: Thiruvananthapuram District, Kerala

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Child Welfare Associates for our project in Thiruvananthapuram District. In this role, you will closely engage with children and schools throughout the district, providing vital support, counseling, awareness, and assistance to enhance their welfare.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conducting trainings to children

- Creating reports of each programmes, conducting studies and surveys.

- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to community members.

- Connect children with appropriate community resources and services.

- Advocate for children's' rights and access to services, working to remove barriers and improve systems of care.

- Maintain accurate and confidential records of interactions, assessments, and reports.

- Participate in community outreach and education programs to raise awareness of available services and resources.

- Work collaboratively with other professionals. Qualifications:

- A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or Sociology is preferred. Requirements:

·       One year experience.

·       Proficiency in Malayalam and English.

·       Excellent MS Office skills.

·       A strong passion for child welfare and a commitment to making a positive impact.

·       Energy, enthusiasm, and a willingness to work in diverse and challenging environments.

·       Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.

·       Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

·       Possession of a valid two-wheeler driver's license (having a two-wheeler is advantageous).

·       Willingness to travel extensively within Thiruvananthapuram District.

Benefits:

·       Rs. 2.0 - 2.7 lakh pa, commensurate to knowledge and experience.

·       Petrol allowance will be provided.

·       Monthly Menstrual Leave will be given (Optional).
